About Pricebook.vet

A small UK team, building the price-list tool we couldn't find.

Pricebook.vet is made by Helpsome.ai, built alongside the team at Nightingale Vets. We started it because the CMA deadline was coming and nothing on the market felt good enough to put on a practice's website.

Who we are

Helpsome.ai is the trading name of Helpsome Limited, a UK company registered in May 2025 (no. 16464301), based at 11c Alma Road, Snettisham, Norfolk.

Pricebook.vet is built and operated by the same people who designed it, which means the inbox you email when something is wrong is the inbox of someone who can fix it the same day.

Why we built Pricebook.vet

In the autumn of 2025, the team at Nightingale Vets sat down to work out how to comply with the CMA's incoming pricing transparency Order. The deadline was a year away. The available options were three: a static PDF (meets the letter, fails the spirit), a generic table plug-in (does neither well), or commissioning a developer to build something bespoke (expensive, hard to maintain, and a problem every practice in the country was about to face independently).

None of them produced a price list a practice would actually want on the front page of its website. So we built one. The people who needed the tool sat in the same room as the people writing the code, and the result is a product where the compliance work and the marketing work happen in the same edit.

“If we have to publish every price anyway, the page should look like something we'd send a new client — not a compliance document we're hiding from them.”

From the first Nightingale conversation, October 2025.

Our promise

Three things we'll keep doing, written down here so you can hold us to them.

  • The base tool stays free, forever.

Publish a fully compliant price list, keep it current, keep it embedded — no card, no trial, no upgrade-to-publish wall. We're giving back to the veterinary community that helped us get here. Pricebook.vet started as a tool for one young independent practice, with input from many more along the way. Keeping the base tool free is how we say thank you, and how we make sure every practice — especially small independents — gets it. If we ever ship optional paid add-ons, they'll be clearly priced and clearly optional.

  • Compliance shouldn't be a time-drain.

We keep Pricebook.vet aligned with the CMA rules as they evolve, so busy veterinary professionals can keep their attention where it belongs: on clients and clinical outcomes, not on regulatory admin.

  • Your price list is a marketing asset, not a legal chore.

The same page that satisfies the CMA is the one you can send to a new client asking what a spay costs. Bundles, variations, health plans, structured data — all in. The CMA bar can be cleared with a wall of numbers in a PDF, but the page that wins you the next client is a different page entirely. We build the second one.

Nightingale Vets — the founding practice

Nightingale Vets is the independent UK veterinary practice that prompted Pricebook.vet into existence. The team there worked through the CMA Order with us in detail, became the first practice to publish a Pricebook.vet-built price list, and continues to give product feedback the way any committed early customer does.

If you're a practice considering Pricebook.vet and you'd like to talk to someone at Nightingale about what the tool felt like to use, get in touch and we'll put you in contact directly.
